What Is

The Prideful Path Project?

The Prideful Path Project, established in 2023, stands as a dedicated resource hub, with a primary focus is on providing unwavering support to marginalized and vulnerable families while emphasizing the needs of Trans and Gender Expansive Individuals, Neurodiverse Individuals, as well as Indigenous populations. Rooted in our mission are pillars of advocacy, support, education, and resource provision, all aimed at fostering connections for the voices often silenced in the larger conversations.

Founded by a genderfluid, autistic parent of neurodiverse trans and non-binary children, our journey began with the support of the Trans Justice Initiative's small grants funding, igniting the essential work we set out to do. Committed to community-led initiatives, our core mission revolves around breaking the cycles of systemic oppression. These cycles, perpetuated by employers, school systems, landlords, medical providers, and politicians, are at the forefront of our efforts to dismantle.

A proud 501c3 organization, our overarching goal is to create a brighter future for the children in our communities, transcending the challenges we ourselves have faced. We remain dedicated to providing opportunities and support, building a resilient and empowered community that thrives against adversity.

What We Do

The Prideful Path Project is committed to empowering minority communities with an emphasis on LGBTQIA+ and intersectional neurodivergent individuals, as well as Indigenous populations through comprehensive education and support initiatives. Our mission is to disrupt the cycle of trauma, discrimination, and systemic oppression by promoting inclusivity, informed advocacy, and fostering community connections. We provide age-appropriate, inclusive workshops, resilience building education, along with providing resources for community needs and affirming providers. Additionally, we extend support, training, advocacy information, and DEI workshops for caregivers, community organizations, and educational institutions. Our objective is to ensure the recognition of the rights of our community across all settings, ensuring that no one feels they are walking this path alone.
